HOW IT WORKS

From radio signals to usable location.

UWB beacon describes a broadcast or reference-node role, not one specific algorithm. Systems may use two-way ranging (TWR), uplink TDoA or downlink reference broadcasts. Establish signal direction and synchronization requirements first.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURECONCEPT · NOT LIVE DATA
01

Choose architecture

Select broadcasts or two-way ranging and assign node roles.

02

Observe signals

Receive timestamps or complete ranging exchanges.

03

Solve position

Combine station coordinates and motion constraints.

04

Connect operations

Associate location with equipment, work orders or goods.

Detailed location targets

UWB time measurements suit applications with finer spatial requirements.

Architecture options

Match the mode to tag count, update intervals and cabling.

Dual-mode access

Bluetooth can handle configuration while UWB provides the selected ranging function.

DEPLOYMENT ESSENTIALS

Check the deployment requirements.

01UWB beacons do not use the Bluetooth iBeacon protocol. Their terminals and receiving paths are not interchangeable.

02JJ-IP32BU is specified as reaching 0.3m with a compatible UWB gateway, channel and firmware combination.

03Indoor gateway accuracy and frequency descriptions differ within the source. Validate a sample system before setting acceptance criteria.
