HOW IT WORKS

From radio signals to usable location.

Beacons periodically broadcast an identifier. Fixed gateways can collect moving-tag broadcasts, or mobile terminals can scan fixed beacons. The platform estimates location using RSSI, zone rules or fingerprints. Choose the direction of deployment during system design.

01People, shelving, walls and multipath affect RSSI. Sample the site and calibrate zone boundaries.

02Radio coverage is not positioning accuracy. The JJ-IP32B specification lists a nominal 1–3m with a compatible gateway.

03Confirm tag options and gateway downlink support for LEDs, buzzers, tamper alerts and bidirectional control.
